Joanna Quinn's latest film is an animated adaptation of Posy Simmonds' book, Famous Fred. When Nick and Sophie's cat Fred dies, although they loved him dearly, they had to admit he was probably the laziest cat in the world. But the night of his funeral they're awakened by a loud meowing. Hundreds of Fred's feline mates have come to hold a requiem and reveal Fred's secret other life as the most famous rock star of the feline world EVER! They learn of his kittenhood, his early life crooning on the backwall, how he acquired a manager, roadies, a backing group, and ever increasing fame. And then what happened next.
