Regen

An evocative impression of a shower of rain in the streets of Amsterdam from one of the great documentarists, here in lyrical mood and displaying a sure sense of composition, light and dark on reflective surfaces, and the potential for camera movement. The umbrella shots predated Hitchcock by a good twenty years.
