Pensao Globo
Matthias MüllerGermany199715 min
International jury prize at the Oberhausen Short Film Festival. A traveller with AIDS takes a journey, his last perhaps, and ends up at the Pensao Globo in Lisbon where he sets out on aimless excursions through the city. Matthias Mueller is one of the most original and exciting talents to have emerged in European film-making in recent years. His use of unconventional narrative strategies, combined with an entirely original and beautiful aesthetic, creates films which explore desire and destiny in the modern world.
