The classic sci-fi short which inspired Terry Gilliam's 12 MONKEYS. After the destruction of Paris in a nuclear World War 3, an underground bunch of survivors conduct experiments in time travel as a means of escape. Composed almost entirely of still photographs, the film's fluid montage and its mastery of a suspenseful narrative packs an extraordinary emotional charge.
